Who am I?

My name is Maria, and I am a happy young woman born in the late 70s, but I do not feel a day older than 23;). As a mom of two twin boys, Sebastian and Theodor, at the age of 16, my days go to follow up om their studies (Something I have come to find is turning out to be a lot harder as the years pass). I keep thinking back to when I was young and how much easier it was then. As for my husband, I was so lucky to find the right man at an early age and I have to say I hit it big. They don’t make men like that anymore, with a big heart, honest to the bone, a talent for cooking and does not tolerate my BS. I am a dreamer with a too big imagination, but a head for logic and common sense. The writing happens when my body allows it because of my Ehlers Danlos Syndrome type hypermobile (EDSh). I write in small batches when my joints permit it and my head wants it. About books, I didn’t start reading until I was 25, and then I was done for. Have never put a book down sins… well… maybe a couple of times. After I underwent IVF treatment without success, I needed to occupy my head with other thoughts and my writing started. It helped me through depression and a hard time. Strange as it is, reading and writing was the last thing I thought I would ever do when I grew up, because I struggled with difficulty reading and writing. Reading out loud was like torture for me and I would get sick with nerves every time. Today I have my own library and the shelves are packed to the ceiling. Being a born and raised Norwegian, I released my first book in Norwegian in 2021, but decided the world was my oyster and had it translated to English and released in November 2023. My favorite genre is Paranormal Romance, Romantasy and Romance. I hope you forgive me my spelling mistakes and keep in mind I had a pro to translate my book;)Thank you for your visit and hope to see you again!
